I remember…

A day when life seemed much easier…
When I went out to recess in kindergarten, and I had to sit at the wall and untie my shoes because I had tied them together.
Ok so not as easy as I had pictured it but this girl in first grade had sharpened her pencil and wanted me to feel how sharp it was.
For some reason we thought it was cool to see how sharp each others pencils were and she takes her hand and pushes my finger into the point so my finger starts to bleed.

To remove a loose tooth my dad would tie floss around it, tie the other end to our thumb, then have us push hard against his hand, then he'd move his hand suddenly and the tooth would launch across the room.
Thanksgiving in a cabin up in Utah, with blue potatoes, YES blue potatoes they weren’t dyed with food coloring they were grown blue!
How cool is that!
I remember…
Back in high school psychology my teacher Scott Peterson
(yeah same name as that guy who was accused of killin’ his wifey)
said, “words of encouragement, your such a loser!”

Mainor leaning in for a kiss and me freaking out like what the hell are you doing?!? In the end he did not get a kiss!
When my senior prom date decided to flake out the day of and not show up and then two months later send me a dozen pink tulips and a card saying he couldn’t find my house!
My first kiss I was with Korina, Kari, and Chuy. We were watching the movie Phantom of the Opera at my parents’ house I got up to get a drink of water in my favorite purple cup. Chuy comes over and grabs hold of me and goes for the kiss and the purple cup slips out of the hands and onto the floor to splash us with water!
All the fun crazy creative dates, Kaylyn and I planned and went on. Like the back to school date, the scavenger hunt date, and many more.
The date book we created with the all the dates listed in it and whom we went with and pictures from the date.
I remember…
Getting burnt to a crisp every summer. The worst was when the bottoms of my feet got burnt from walking around water world and then the back of my legs got burnt from riding on my tummy the whole way down the salt river.
Being a HOE (Health Occupations Education) back in high school.
